Delivery Policy

Kova is a fresh, frozen protein ice cream made in small batches in Los Angeles. Because our product is perishable, our delivery model is different from standard ecommerce shipping. Please read this carefully so you know what to expect.


Local Delivery Only

We currently deliver within the Los Angeles area. Delivery availability and coverage are confirmed at checkout based on your address. We do not ship via UPS, FedEx, USPS, or any carrier service at this time.

If your address falls outside our current delivery area, you will be notified before your order is confirmed.


Delivery Schedule

We run scheduled batch delivery routes — not on-demand delivery. Our current delivery windows are posted on our website and may change over time. Orders must be placed before the stated cutoff to be included in the next available delivery window.

You will receive a confirmation email with your delivery window after your order is placed.


Delivery Fees

  • Subscriptions: FREE delivery on every order, forever
  • One-time orders (8+ cups): FREE delivery
  • One-time orders (under 8 cups): Delivery fee applied at checkout
  • Pickup: FREE — contact us at hello@kovakream.com to arrange

Receiving Your Order

Because Kova is a frozen perishable product, please ensure someone is available to receive your order during your delivery window, or that a safe, shaded location is available for drop-off. Product must be transferred to a freezer promptly upon delivery.

We are not responsible for product quality if:

  • No one is available to receive the order and product is left in a warm environment
  • An incorrect delivery address was provided
  • Product is not transferred to a freezer in a timely manner after delivery

If you have concerns about your delivery or won't be available, contact us in advance at hello@kovakream.com and we'll do our best to accommodate you.


Order Processing

Orders are processed on a weekly batch schedule. Once your order is confirmed, it is prepared fresh and delivered on your assigned delivery date. We do not offer same-day or next-day delivery.

You will receive an email confirmation when your order is placed and a notification when it is out for delivery.


Missed Deliveries & Issues

If there is a problem with your delivery — wrong address, missed drop-off, or a quality concern on arrival — contact us within 48 hours of your delivery date at hello@kovakream.com. We handle every issue personally and will work to make it right.

Future Availability

We are working to expand our delivery coverage over time. If you are outside our current area, email us at hello@kovakream.com — we keep a waitlist and will notify you when we reach your area.
