It started with a question
Why could protein shakes and bars hit 30g of protein at 200 calories, but ice cream never could? Every protein ice cream told the same story: the protein was there, but only by the pint. Our founder, Juan, set out to answer why.
Made in Lincoln Heights
Built one batch at a time
It turned out to be a real formulation problem: ice cream needs fat for creaminess and sugar to stay smooth, and loading in protein fights both. Working out of Lincoln Heights — the LA neighborhood he's lived in his whole life — Juan built a recipe that hit the mark: 30g protein, 200 calories, and a texture that doesn't taste like a compromise. Two weeks later he walked into a gym and sold the first cups by hand.
